Bathing in the sun by CigarsCigarettes Bathing in the sun by CigarsCigarettes
For all those of you who can't really go this year on vacation.
I feel ya!

It's like hellfire here and all I dream about is to go to the seaside ;____;

You got most of them right ;) except it's not a Red Cardinal but  a Gang-gang Cockatoo (male and female) and the black one in front is a South-eastern Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo ^^

This is yet another wonderful picture! There is so much to look at that "differs" a little bit from the more "usual" things I see from you :)

Aaah, yes, another look at this beautiful pegasus. :D That's something I love about your characters that you make, they're not all stereotypical and even if their colors are simple- one or two, maybe three- you make them so unique in their personality and body language!

She is such a regal and gorgeous pegasus, she most definitely fits right along with the ocean and the sands beneath her, which only adds to her personality since most pegasi are colored in sky-ish themes. It's really nice seeing a unicorn-hearted pegasus that's close to the ground, but still has that pegasi pride that makes them regal in their own right.

Well done as always, and the shine on the water? That splashing affect on the birds' feathers? So amazingly gorgeous, the light source is consistent and it's just transparent enough to actually give it a watery feel, and the sparkles- you really are so good at putting sparkles in the right spot- accent it as real water would look in such a bright light.

I agree! So many people create pegasus ponies, both in outward apperance and character as these skybound creatures, and maybe they are, but just as people differ in preferences and character, so should fanmade OC, in my opinion. It's so much more fun and interesting that way ^^

And thank you, this was a real challange since I don't normally draw water...well, water in general is a hard topic. But as always, thank you so much for the encourage you give me :hug: I'm pleased with the result for now, but there's still so much trick to learn to make the effect better and more real ^^

Definitely, OC's should be unique in body and/or personality, and it gives their creators means to be creative and really get into the personal bits of their creations. :)

You're more than welcome as always, and water is such a pain for me, especially trying to get the right look I want in SAI. >.< Toootally doesn't work out well. XD
